Christmas Card using Seasonal Bells

I saw this card on Pinterest and loved the color combinations. I thought that Emerald Envy and Mint Macaron were very good together, but not one that I would normally use. I hope you like the combination, too. I was looking for a card that used the new Seasonal Bells stamp set. This set is great not just for Christmas, but weddings, too. It would even work on a Fourth of July card or New Years Eve card.

The card uses the Holly Berry Builder punch which is new to the Holiday Catalog. I thought it matched perfectly with the holly in the Presents & Pinecones Designer Series Paper. I also used the Pine Bough embossing folder to give a little more dimension to the front of the card.

Here is the inside of the card. I added a Cherry Cobbler layer to give it a more traditional feel of red and green. I hope you want to make this card, too.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Crop at DuBois

These were some of the items I had for sale at the crop in DuBois this past weekend. There were stamp sets, ribbons, paper, and of course lots of cards.

The next crop I will be a vendor at is in my hometown of Everett on November 18th to the 20th. If you want to go, contact me for the information.

Crop at DuBois - Take and Make Cards

These are the cards that the ladies could "take and make".  They select a card from the board and then 'take' the kit to their seats and 'make' the card. I had cards for fall, Halloween, and Christmas. Several of the ladies making the cards this year were new to the crop. We all had a great weekend with lots of laughter and lots of creating.

We will be making some of these cards again at a crop in my hometown of Everett on November 18th through the 20th. If you live in the area and would like to have a great time and be creative, contact me for the information about the crop.

We will be making some of the cards at the Dragonfly Retreat House on Sunday, November 13 from 10:00 to 5:00. If you would like to come, let me know.

Friday at the Movies - Fancy Frost Designer Series Paper

This specialty paper is awesome for Christmas cards. I have several samples using this paper. The tree card is made by Stamping with Amy K.

Friday at the Movies - Tin of Cards

Stampin' Up has many videos about the new product in the Holiday Catalog. Every Friday I'll be posting one of these videos for you to watch. So get your popcorn ready, sit back and enjoy the show.

These are some of the tags from the kits that I made.  Image
